Lovers on the Lamma Island Ferry
While in Hong Kong, I stayed on Lamma Island, a small, rather picturesque place set aside from the big city, which is on the main island of Hong Kong.
I rode the ferry from Lamma to Hong Kong every day. At first, I was seasick, but I got used to it.
Such a vessel was involved in an accident in October, 2012, when two passenger-carrying boats collided near Lamma. Thirty-nine people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
